Many Californians live with some level of disability. We strive to make sure that all of our players and visitors have equal access to the content and services offered on our website and have made deliberate website design and content choices to cater to players with varying levels of ability.
- Blind/Low Vision. To provide a higher level of accessibility for the Blind/Low Vision population text can be read using assistive technology, font size may be scaled and design uses a high contrast between the background color and the text.
- Deaf/Hard of Hearing. To assist with accessibility for people with hearing loss all of our videos have text descriptions as well as volume control.
- Mobility. For people with low levels of mobility, keyboard navigation and assistive technology may be used to navigate the website.
- Cognitive and Specific Learning Disabilities. To offer accessibility to a diverse audience with varying levels of cognitive ability, the website provides simple navigation, consistency in content presentation, clear labels and the ability to skip repetitive navigation.
